Organización Nacional del Cáncer del Seno Y-ME
About this site: The Y-ME National Breast Cancer Organization was started by two-breast cancer patients way back in 1978, and is still offering support and information to women (and men) dealing with life-changing diagnoses. The Spanish-language version of the site is much scaled-down from the English, but offers very general information on treatments and on living with breast cancer. Sobre este sitio: La Organización Nacional del Cáncer del Seno Y-ME fue fundada por dos sobrevivientes del cáncer del seno en 1978, y aun ofrece apoyo e información para mujeres (y hombres) quienes luchan con los cambios de vida precipitada por el diagnóstico. La versión del sitio en español incluye sólo una fracción de la información del sitio en inglés, pero ofrece datos generales acerca de tratamientos y asesoría acerca de cómo vivir con cáncer. Y-ME National Breast Cancer Organization
About this site: The Y-ME National Breast Cancer Organization was started by two breast cancer patients way back in 1978, and is still offering support and information to women (and men) dealing with the life-changing diagnosis. Some of the many helpful resources they offer include a 24-hour hotline, self-exam guidelines, and "Ask Y-ME" -- a chance to have questions answered quickly and confidentially.
